Common Phrases

Just a little exercise in putting common phrases into picture format...

Engineers

I got thinking about explaining every day things to oridinary people as opposed to engineers and i came up with this good analogy.

Earth as drawn simply for a normal person.

Now the Engineers format for displaying the earth.

Although this remains up in the air, it could change after it is checked and brought up to proper engineering standards. Then signed by 13 million people and double checked by a few dozen more people. Once it gets rejected a couple times it will go back through that process and come out roughly the same as it did when it went in, but they will change the font from Arial to Times New Roman.

While this is not a perfect representation I think it gets my point across fairly efficiently. Leave it to the engineer to think efficiency when making paint drawings.

Evolution

Scientists have been working on this one for years... but this is all they have so far.

I suddenly understand why evolution is such a controversy, this is pretty intense stuff.

Puddles

Why you don't play in puddles...

Luckily it's winter in Michigan and the puddles are all frozen... take that water.

Sorry... work is a crunch at the end of the year.

Falling

Starting a new relationship is kinda like pushing your heart out of an airplane and trusting the other person to put the chute on for you... sometimes they give you one sometimes they don't. The fall is fun no matter what, but whether you make it to the ground smoothly or not is the only difference.

Potty Thoughts

That reminds me... do you ever wonder exactly what people are doing in the stall next to you at work. One minute it's a peaceful unloading of lunch/breakfast, next the guy next to you in grunting like he's trying to pass a watermelon.

I'm just sayin' do you really know what he's doing? really?

I'm not suggesting anything by that picture... i swear

...well, maybe.


I think I'm going to start wearing headphones in the crapper.

Free Stuff

It's been a long day and a friend sparked a thought during email conversations that led to this cartoon.

if someone says free, don't ever question it... take it and run before they realize what they just did.

Typical Day

Pretty much, this is how I feel some days... and thus the reason I make these pictures and have this blog to share them.

So I'm starting this blog in order to have some place to post all the things I do while waiting for work to come my way.

I'll probably share funny stories every so often... but only if I feel like they're so funny you might poop yourself a little while laughing at them.

...or at least think about pooping yourself...
